How do I convert treadmill speed to pace?
Divide 60 by the speed. At 12 km/h a kilometer takes 60 ÷ 12 = 5 minutes, so the pace is 5:00 per kilometer. At 7.5 mph a mile takes 60 ÷ 7.5 = 8 minutes, so the pace is 8:00 per mile.
From pace to speed it is the same division: 60 divided by the pace in minutes. A pace of 5:30 per kilometer is 5.5 minutes, and 60 ÷ 5.5 = 10.9 km/h. To switch between km/h and mph, remember that a mile is 1.609 kilometers: 10 mph is 16.1 km/h.

From a goal time to a treadmill speed
The pace calculator turns a race and a goal time into a pace, and shows the speed in km/h and mph with it. The race time predictor estimates what you could run at other distances.
